About The Book
Pharmaceutical Engineering is concerned with the study of industrial processes required to convert raw material into value added pharmaceuticals such as drugs and excipients. This book deals with unit operations and processes utilised in the production of bulk drugs, dosage forms and biological products. Photos of industrial scale equipments for acquaintance have been included while the line drawings illustrating the principles & functions were already present. Chapter-wise objectives are included at the beginning and summary is appended at the end.
Considering relevance with examinations, emphasis is laid on the following :-
1. Applications of principles
2. Concept mapping based illustrations
3. Comment type (objective type) with answers
4. MCQs with key
5. Question bank
